Gouache Ink Resist

This is my gouache panting of my cat Bella. 

I used the following principles to organize my composition:  Color contrast, different types of textures,  planed patterns and flowing rhythm of the fur. 

The principles that organize the following elements of art found in my piece are: Structural, contour and gesture lines, 2D shapes, light and dark values, warm and intense colors and      texture on the surface.
