Human Figure

This is a human figure of a dancer. I chose a butterfly theme and pattern to express the movement and flow of a beautiful dancer. 

Element of Art- 

Line: Outline, sketch 

Shape: 2D, geometric and organic 

Value: Light and dark 

Color: Warm, cool, intense 

Space: Positive and negative space inside the dancer

Principles of Deign-

Balance: Symmetrical 

 Emphasis: Through isolation in the dancer 

Pattern: Planned pattern of the butterfly theme 

Movement and Rhythm: Flowing and progressive rhythm on the butterfly and in the dancers body

These are all items from my room, I chose them because they show who I really am! I painted them the colors they truly are!

3D Table

This was my favorite project this year!! I loved that we were able to create anything that we wanted to. I loved the candy theme I chose! This project was fun and exciting to make. :)

Value: There are light and dark values within the paint and candy wrappers 

Color: Warm and cool, also intense neon colors 

Texture: There is texture from the ridges of the wrappers and boxes , there is also texture from the paint that I chose

Altered Piece of Paper

This is my sketch of a real piece of paper! I made a paper airplane and then I drew the paper and shaded.

This is my sun color wheel. I am very proud of how it turned out. I like how the rays are the wheel part.

Rendering

This is a rendering I made of my friends dog. We used different type of pencils to create a picture. I used the light pencils for the dogs fur and dark pencils for the eyes.

Metamorphosis

This is my metamorphosis. I created a Dream Catcher and showed the steps of how it can become a spider web.

This is my watercolor book cover. I decided to use the song Tom's Diner. This is the part when she is looking in the window and sees her own reflection.

This assignment was to take photos of different elements and Principles in art. These photos are elements I have found in every day life. I really like the texture photo of my dog  because it shows that the fur looks soft.
